Asset Store currently offline in Unity

Hi

I've gone through various threads about the asset store being offline when trying to access it from within Unity but none helped. The asset store is never offline for me in the browser, both https://kharma.unity3d.com/en/ and the normal URL work. When I click on "open in unity" in the browser it opens in Unity and then the asset store windows pop up and says "You are currently offline" I've enabled and disabled firewalls and still nothing. Like suggested on other threads I also checked if the LAN settings had a proxy enable but it didn't. I have no idea how to fix this now. Reinstalled Unity as well, current version im using is 5.0.2f1 personal edition.

 

Still haven't been able to address this issue, kinda annoying when i can't use my paid assets. Why isn't there a download package button from the asset story instead of only making it possible to open through unity.

 

OK i managed to solve this, I reinstalled Unity and deleted ALL temporary files in appdata/local and locallow and roaming as well as in programdata. That made me re login on startup of Unity after i reinstalled it and then i was logged in and could use the asset store. It would be nice if you could somehow relog your unity account inside Unity or i'm completely retarded and can't find this option myself.

its a real irritation to see that unity hasn't tried to fix this problem for some people, even after the course of a year after the reply. I think i will try your way and re-install this
