    Hi,

I've had various problems with Unity crashing on my Mac Mini but thought upgrading to 4.0 might fix it - unfortunately it hasn't made any difference. Nearly every time I get an update from the asset server my Mac crashes and either reboots or gets a corrupted screen and I have to manually restart it by holding down the power button. It seems to download the updates ok but as soon as it's finished it just crashes - I don't even get a chance to report it to Unity.

Has anyone else has a similar issue?

    Thanks,
    Tony

I am having a very similar issue. Whenever I update from our Asset server, Unity immediately hangs with a spinning beach ball and I have no choice but to force quit the application. The crash sometimes occurs when committing updates as well. I'm using a Mac Pro running 10.8.2 and Unity 4.0.1.

me too. Happened back in 4.0 and now still happening with 4.2

I find that if I delete my entire project, and start fresh again downloading all project files again from scratch, it's all good.

This time round, it started after I had tried reverting files back to a previous revision. When trying to do that it crashed and now crashes everytime I try to get latest. SADFACE.
