    Hi all,

One thing I wish there was more info on (and maybe there is somewhere) is how compatible different popular Asset Store products are with each other. For example I could easily imagine someone buying the below and having no idea what will work and what won't:
    • Final IK
    • Third Person Motion Controller
    • PuppetMaster
Similarly for combining shaders from different authors, or assets that make use of third party UI systems/sound managers/etc.

Anyone have any stories to share on assets that work well together, or that have massive caveats for using together?

    Cheers,
    JT

You can check out the developers' websites for integration examples and support packages. For example, Hutong has a ton of integrations for PlayMaker, and Opsive likewise has lots of integrations for Behavior Designer and Third Person Controller.

Dev blogs are another source of information. Devs will often describe the assets they're using in their games and how well they work together. A Google search for the asset names and "dev blog" will often turn up good info.

In addition to good information provided by @TonyLi I would also ask both developers (of the two assets you want to integrate) what they think. Sometimes these asset developers might provide some other alternative assets to look at instead of the ones you wish to integrate.

In addition it is important to ask and determine which developer is actually responsible for maintaining the actual asset integration.
