Audio Assertion failed: Assertion failed on expression: 'curSource->m_Channel.IsValid()'

    Hi everyone!

    for about two weeks now, we see strange error messages appear in the log:
    Assertion failed: Assertion failed on expression: 'curSource->m_Channel.IsValid()'

    The game is already out on PS4 and XB1 and we are currently working on a larger content update. We are on 2017.3.0p4 and but haven't updated in a while, so it should(tm) not be update related. We also do a lot of crazy audio stuff, but haven't touched that part of the code in the last couple of months.

    This error message is the only info we have. It appears randomly every few seconds, and we could not yet tie it to any ingame event. Any hint as to where we should investigate would help :D

    Happens in my little project as well. Seems to happen very randomly.

    it seems that the audio system breaks sometimes. we have sounds missing after a few seconds or minutes of play. both in the editor and in the build.

    strangely enough in one instance, the sound playing is not heard, but it still triggers the side chain compressor. Trying patch releases now to see if the bug was fixed at some point
