Artist seeking direction

I am an Artist and Designer seeking direction and experience in order to work within game-developement. I have a good foundational knowledge of all 2d packages including vector graphics and AutoCAD-style design templates all the way to pixel art and lazer-engraving. I have experience with Photoshop as well as After Effects animation packages, and have some experience working with photo editing and even some stop-motion skills working with claymation and a 16mm Bolex film which I later telecined and digitised for composition. I need some projects to dust off old skills and develop new ones. I have great imagination and am self-motivated. I simply lack confidence within a team environment.
