Arteria are proud to present the launch of the Medieval Village Pack, with the emphasis on a Rural Medieval Village Setting complete with Thatched Styled Roofs and Village Summer Market, complete with Traveller Caravans!.

The pack features a set of 10 beautiful Thatched Buildings, with interiors. Also, the windows are not fake, i.e. just a texture - but these buildings feature see through transparent windows, so the player can see in or out of the building, which gives a much more realistic aspect to the setting, which is all about creating that authentic atmosphere.

The pack also features an Animated WaterMill and Animated WIndMill. Check the DEMO that you can download below, to see the buildings in action, casting atmospheric animated shadows on the terrain.

To complete the pack, we provide you with a 25 Prop pack containing interior and exterior props, plus terrain textures and a couple of trees for your terrain.

PRICE FOR 2 DAYS ONLY is $19.99

There is also a PC AND MAC Demo to download on the product page too

I want my grubby hands over this, doubt I will have the money though.

It would be great for our Prototype, I will have to add other additions as well (Like a Few watchtowers, and a Palisade around it) ;)

Really great work, Steve. Glad to be a lifetime member.

Any word on the kinds of characters you'll be releasing?

Nice pack. But the animation of windmill and water wheel needs some tuning. It is rotating too fast and it is not fluent at all.

Re the fluent, if you mean, it wobbles slightly as it turns, that was actually done deliberate due to the early medieval workmanship on the buildings.

Re rotating too fast, that really would depend on the water current and wind.

Best wishes and thanks for your input

Well, I ve seen few medieval windmills and water wheels and no was rotating like this. It looks like wrong animation (beginning and end are not connected well), no medieval workmanship. And speed of rotation is like serious storm ;) Well, this is small issue, anybody can rework this, no problem.
