    Hi,

The virtual vs real dimensions are a bit off with ARfoundation (~50mm).

A 3D model with a length of 4500mm appears to be 4550mm in augmented reality when checking the dimensions with a measuring tape(after the 3D model is placed in AR).

I'm currently working with a client that requires a high level of precision when it comes to dimensions.

What's the expected accuracy of a 3D model real-life measurements with ARfoundation?

Is there a way to get better measurement precision? Maybe forcing the user to do some calibration to get an accurate virtual size of 1000mm for example?

    Thank you

AR Foundation operates through ARKit on iOS devices and ARCore on Android devices. You would have to look at those specifications to understand the expected accuracy.

Ok thanks @todds_unity ! I'll take a look at ARKit and ARCore!
