Are there any plans to bring the package manager UI to Unity 2017.4?

    I was testing out 2018.1 but I prefer to stay on 2017.4 for now since the performance is on par with 5.6.6, but I found the Package Manager UI in 2018.1 to be very useful for keeping Unity assets updated and out of the Assets folder but the UI is not in 2017.4 even though the infrastructure is there. Just wondering if there is any plans to bring it to 2017.4?

    Hi CloudWeight, there are unfortunately no plans to bring the package manager UI to 2017.4, mostly because the majority of packages listed are also 2018.1+ compatible, so there wouldn't be much to show in the UI for that version of the editor.
