Resolved Are there any plans to address authoring and baking issues?

    Currently, authoring and baking is the biggest pain point for most users. Having to undo the mess of baking that Entities Graphics performs if you need something custom for some specific GameObjects, or not being able to connect subscene entities to scene GameObjects unless the GameObjects are part of some magic whitelist have been extremely restrictive. Then there's subscen imports which take a long time because they don't use Burst, meanwhile baking code is typically going to be expensive because it is trying to precompute expensive tasks so that the game runs faster, and having Burst would make these expensive tasks take much less time.

    Are there any plans to address any of these issues?

    Yes, but they involve addressing fundamental issues in the main unity assetdatabase and content pipeline, which people are actively working on. It'll be a while though.
