    inb4 webgl - no.
Just no, its laughable, that its 2016 and we are thrown back to using 2gigs with crappy buggy raw tech that is unable to do anything apart from primitive stuff. Try to make graphic demo? FAIL CUZ NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE NORMAL GFX. OUT OF MEMORY, ARRAY WRONG AMOUNT OF ELEMENTS etc.
Just no, webgl goes to the trashbin where it belongs.

Need a working third party solution or something that do the same as web player without pathetic webgl trash.

No. And you should realise it's probably not smart omitting 70% of the entire planet (Edge + Chrome), which do not support anything except WebGL.

You'll be the loser going down this road of avoiding WebGL, nobody else.

dont care my projects are desktop only thankfully. I need web build for personal small gfx demos for portfolio, and just scrapped the surface and it stinks, i better just record vids and provide builds to download than use this.

Well, I'm afraid the best bet is to use Unity 5.3, this should still work with a fixed browser of your choice... You might need to deploy the webplayer. I don't think Unity is removing access to it, only removing it from future versions of Unity. So the most stable version 5.3x will suit you.
