    Hi,

What are the differences in the "Unity simulation" and "Unity game simulation" products. It seems like unity game simulation uses unity simulation as the underlying tech and is just a web dashboard added on top?

Had previously asked over on the unity simulation forum if there was plans for a dashboard and they said no so did some work creating our own internal web app as a frontend to the unity simulation web api rather than use the command line tool.

    Hey whiskers,

You are correct in that unity game simulation runs your unity build on the unity simulation platform. However there are several key differences between the two offerings. Generally the game simulation product is more focused on how game developers would be running simulations and we've found that the most common case for developers has been exploring hundreds or thousands of different balance options for their game. With this in mind game simulation lets you specify lists of values you want to test and dynamically creates simulations for each parameter combination. The other key difference is that our SDK is based around the implementation of specific metric counters where a user can record values for key metrics about their project and we will serve those back both as raw data and in aggregate. We don't currently offer screenshots like Unity Simulation. If you haven't signed up yet, but want to try it out you can find more information here: https://unity.com/products/game-simulation. Certainly we've found a large number of cases where it has been easier for people to use Unity Game Simulation for certain problems and we are happy to help you out if that's the case here.

    Thanks,
    Willis Kennedy
