Games Arctic Awakening - Narrative Adventure Game

We've been working on this game for around 2 years, and while there is still quite a bit of work to go, I thought I'd go ahead and start sharing our progress with the Unity community, and we certainly appreciate any and all feedback!

We've built a lot of custom tooling on top of the Unity editor to support our workflows, which has been a really great experience. We're currently using Unity 2021.2 with the built-in pipeline. All art, music, etc is created by our team of 5 specifically for the game, though we've also used a number of great tools from the asset store.

Arctic Awakening is an episodic narrative adventure set in the unforgiving Arctic. Your plane crashed in a storm, leaving only your AI drone for company as you journey to find your co-pilot and uncover the dark mysteries buried beneath the ice. We're targeting a release on PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox and PlayStation later this year.

Excited to announce that our first public demo will go live as part of LudoNarraCon on May 5-9!

 

Wow Arctic Awakening looks awesome! It seems also to have survival elements? Or is it purely narrative?
(Can't exactly tell a lot about gameplay from the trailer)

 

Thanks! It's primarily narrative. We're working on our second trailer right now and taking that factor into account to try and make it more clear (we didn't have a lot of actual gameplay ready when making the first trailer, so it was tough).
