Question ARCore missing?

    Hello,

    I've not done anything with AR before. I followed a tutorial on YouTube and tested out the app and the screen is just black. I found out that it's black because ARCore is not checked in XR Manager.

    But ARCore is missing in Package Manager. Not sure if ARCore has been replaced with Google ARCore XR Plugin.

    I'm using Unity version 2022.2.0b4.

    Does anyone know?

    Yes, it was renamed starting from version 5.0.

    Thank you for clearing that up. Not sure why it's just a black screen then. I may know what it is.

    I would recommend you to use verified versions of AR Foundation packages instead of preview. The same goes for Unity engine itself.

    It was because I had it set to URP. not sure why I did that. I should probably go back to a stable version. The AR plane is solid purple and not an outline as it should be.
