I'm working on a mobile AR app using ARCore right now at school where the art students should be able to augment the 3D models they created onto any surface. Everything is working so far, but the only issue is that I want students to be able to upload their models to something like Google Drive or Box (for example a shared Google Drive folder where all students upload their models), and then the app can somehow load those models when it's launched. Is there a way to make this happen or perhaps a simpler method?
I'm not sure about ARcore but this is in principle possible with Vuforia. Here you have a cloud target manager with access keys that can be shared. See e.g. https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Solution/How-To-Implement-Cloud-Reco.html as a starting point.
