Archer firing Bow

    I have an animated archer that pulls from a quiver then loads it and fires. I have the arrow as a separate model then the archer. how do I 'roll' the arrow with the animated archer? (starting from quiver to bow to firing, then back to quiver [although that part isn't necessarily animated].

    It's called a look at constraint in 3D Max - I don't know what it is called in Unity. I believe it has some association with IK but I'm not sure.
    Check out the info about controlling where a character looks - it's the same control you want to have on the arrow. The target the arrow looks at will have to be animated in the scene which will orient the arrow in the direction you want it to point. I may be misunderstanding what you meant by 'roll' the arrow with the animated archer, if so - sorry. Maybe you can explain 'roll' better.
