Arbitrary variables names in Shader Graph.

    It would seem that Shader Graph doesn't name the actual variables as shown in the blackboard, which means I can't make a shader work with stuff like particle systems.

    How do I make Color and MainTex work?

    Am I missing something?

    Hi,

    You're not missing anything, it's just not supported yet. We're planning to implement this soon :)

    Might not be there immediately, but we can deliver an update via the package manager

    Thanks because currently only way to do certain shaders that require such naming would be to edit HLSL directly, which sort of makes shader-graph pointless in those use cases ;)
