    Hello
When I install AR foundation 5.0.2 in my project I get a big list of errors such as missing namespaces and conflicting classes, check the screenshot, any idea why is this happening?
Unity version is 2021.3.11f1, I installed AR foundation on another empty project and it worked.

Take a look at your project manifest. You should have:
    • com.unity.xr.arfoundation // AR Foundation 5.0.2
    • (optional) com.unity.xr.arcore // Google ARCore XR Plug-in 5.0.2
    • (optional) com.unity.xr.arkit // Apple ARKit XR Plug-in 5.0.2
If your manifest contains either of these packages, remove them:
    • com.unity.xr.arsubsystems // this has been merged into AR Foundation
    • com.unity.xr.arkit-face-tracking // this has been merged into the Apple ARKit XR Plug-in
See our migration guide for more information

Thank you, it worked, it's weird though, I only installed ARCore XR Plug-in 5.0.2 and then AR foundation was installed automatically (I had previously removed it) and everything worked.

The Google ARCore XR Plug-in depends on AR Foundation, so it will always pull in the corresponding ARF version that matches your ARCore version. Glad you got it sorted!
