Dear users, My team of Aquarius Max Studios, is quite new in existence, and with selling on the unity asset store. Our main goal at this moment is to create "Fantasy" style 3D models (Modular Packs) for you to use in your games. This is a new group that has only just started selling and creating assets on the unity store for about a month, and would like you to check us out.

Our packages provided are, easy on pricing, with good qualities/quantities in each pack. Why spend too much money on few assets for a large price (sometimes more money than the profit of the game itself), when you can spend easy money, on a fair amount of assets.

Aquarius Max is best found on Facebook, as our newly created page, and would like you to Like our page if you are interested in our work. If Facebook is a problem, Twitter and YouTube are also current.

    1. Wrong forum section
    2. No asset store link

I mean no offense and I hope you'll take this as constructive criticism, but your logo also hurts my eyes.
Other than that, good luck. :)

Also recommend putting your asset store link in your signature.

Quality over quantity. Cheaper does not automatically equate to better. I checked your Dungeon Creator Kit and frankly it feels like what I would expect from someone who is not an artist (aka programmer art).

A fair bit of it does come down to how you are showcasing your work. The normals feel far too excessive and the coloring appears bland (monotone for most of it).

Yes, it is six times cheaper than MK4's Top-Down Dungeon Kit and I could replace the textures, but how likely am I to find better textures that are within the price difference of $50?

Well yes, thank you for your reply, I guess. It is sometimes true what you say, that cheaper isn't always better, but I like to bend beyond that fact or fiction, to show that cheaper can have its different motives. Perhaps my pictures on display etc, are not met to certain expectations for some. As for others, they bought some of these packs, off of the videos and display pictures available, and from what I was told, were quite happy with the results. It does all come down to preference, and everybody's preference is different in many a way.

As well, I am not known on the asset store as much yet. So few have bought my packages, maybe because they're newly put out. These packs included in the fantasy sets I speak of are, big packs, with many alterations of textures: Some specular, some great quality, some low quality. And I prefer to start out low priced, with these 10 sets I plan on making. Because why not? Why try and rip people off with selling a couple dozen models for close to $100, as I've seen?

How you showcase your assets has a direct influence on their sale. I don't believe MK4's assets are necessarily that much higher quality, but he does know how to properly show off his work to make it appealing.

Whether or not it is a rip off depends entirely on the assets. Artwork does not have to be expensive, but more often than not those assets that are priced extremely low are simply not worth the effort. Especially if I have to invest time tweaking the assets or replacing textures.

Not that more expensive necessarily equates to higher quality either. I've seen some expensive stuff that was clearly not worth the cost. Especially on sites like Turbosquid.

Well my best way to explain my pricing with my current idea of the 10 pack set is:
The plan was to make 10 packs, each pack sold at $10, each with its own different features, from dungeons, to housing, to desert themed, to castles, and so on. Each pack consisting of at least 50-100 objects (with many modular pieces). With the qualities of textures being at a fair medium to good rating. Splitting these packs up is an easier way I can watch and update them as needed.

My original plan was to make One big pack, consisting of about 700-1000 objects for around $100. I figured splitting these packs into 10 different ones seemed more convenient, as there are easily dozens of different "fantasy" topic packs on the store, and if someone does not want the full amount of objects provided, they can pick and choose the packs as needed to cross-use with their games!

So I probably should've posted this sooner to best explain my meanings behind the low pricing. I do take my time making/ creating these assets, and I love creating them as well! I don't just slop them together just to sell them like crazy. They may not be a 5 star rating with textures and quality, but they're still good qualities, and I try and support those who do not have the best income to buy expensive packs.

And, Ryiah, I thank you for your comments, you are just stating very important but simple facts that are looked at by many.
