    Hey!
I built an oculus quest VR game; the build target is android.

After building the game about 30 times, the built cache became about 35 gb out of 100mb asset.
Yet, I also used jobs, burst packages.

Main issue is that when I change some prefabs' material or variable, the editor waits about 10 min for almost every change. Not everyone, but almost every 3rd-5th change.

I know that large built cache like ShaderCache.db ( about 30gb) causing this long time wait in the Editor to change the built cache data.

This large unused cache some times makes a bug as well.
On one occasion, when I changed a "prefabs material", the prefab changed in the editor and runtime mode.
but the prefab's material didn't changed in the .apk built game. hopefully in the next change, it worked in the .apk built game.

    My hard drive are
    C: disk SSD ---Windows 10
    D: disk HHD ---Unity projects

I hope you guys make some better solution for this waiting condition in future.
Maybe some cache deleting options in the editor. I tested this method , deleted the file ShaderCache.db.
And then, editor works fine, no waiting time for any prefab changes.:)

If this particular fix didn't help, it's another issue.
Can you try and use the profiler to see, what's taking so long?
