Apple "El Capitan" finder feature: .obj can be previewed and rotated!

This is random, but I just clicked on a .obj file from a modeler, and it shows up in the preview! Pressing space, the preview expands and I can rotate the model without opening it!

That's kind of cool, cause when I get files I often want to see them but not work on them yet, and before I'd have to open them in some other app to see it!

[Edit, you can pan and rotate w/o pressing space too]

Does it work with FBX files too?

    That is indeed really nice.

I'll try that out once I've updated.

It's worked for dae's for a few years now, and game kit 3d scenes. There are some quick look extensions for other file types as well. Someone was working on an fbx one a while back, but the first realeases were slow and prone to fail.

sfbaystudios, Have you run into any problems with Unity and El Capitan? Trying to decide to upgrade OS.

Not specifically that I know of -- Unity always has problems, of course, but I don't think any crashes etc that I've faced have to do with El Capitan.

Has it improved how it handles multiple monitors? Not specifically a Unity issue, but with Yosemite Unity became kind of a nightmare with multiple monitors. It was also a problem with Adobe apps and others, so more OS related.
