As most of you know, now it is possible to perform AB Tests on Apple's App Store.

The problem with that is that it is required to include additional icons in the builds before testing them through App Store Connect: "If the treatment you want to apply includes an alternate app icon, you’ll need to include the icon when you submit a new app version in App Store Connect."

What are the best practices to include those alternate app icons to iOS Unity builds?
Is this something that is already planned for future Unity versions?

Since that is something that influences ASO and Store Conversion optimization, I believe it'd be very handy to have these alternate icons available out of the box.

Are there any more people interested on that?

I'm considering developing a plugin for the Asset Store to handle that.
How much would you pay for that plugin?

Hi @_Adriaan , is that plugin supposed to automate the process mentioned in this video?

According to the video, in the xcode project, I would need to edit the "info.plist" file and add an entry for "CFBundleIcons" as well as add a "resources" folder containing the icon images.

So I tried using the AppIconChangerUnity plugin, followed the instructions, and created and AlternateIcon. However, in the built xcode project, I don't see any "CFBundleIcons" entry in the "info.plist" file, nor do I see a "resources" folder.

    Am I missing something? Thanks.
