APK Not being saved

    After many many hours of figuring things out I am finally able to build (or build and run) my project for Android. However, when I am asked where to save the APK and I select a name and location, the APK is not saved there and the file is in no way transferred to my device. I am not getting any errors, so I do not know what the problem is. Looking at other solutions on here are not helpful.
    If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate your help.

    That doesn't sound right. You mean that .apk is not created, the game is not launched on device (in case of build and run) and there are no error in Console window in Unity?

    What is the issue exactly?
    You get no errors in console and no apk?
