    Hi all,

Just wondering aloud if anyone else listens to music while either using Unity and/or writing scripts? Sometimes the quiet can be a bit deafening and some background music is a nice change.

Anyone have any fav songs or playlists?

I'm currently addicted to streaming postmodern jukebox from their YouTube channel. Previously it's either bluegrass for something upbeat with a quick rhythm or mozarts requiem for something a bit more calming.

Yeah. Have open either Winamp, Youtube or Spotify while using Unity (or coding in general). Found out it makes coding faster, especially with upbeat, fast music.

I often find myself sitting there with headphones on, listening to nothing.

force of habbit. When I am actually listening to stuff, its usually electro/house/dnb/breaks/dubstep in nature. lazy these days, just fire up pandora.

I often listen to beta or gamma wave binaural beats. Binaural beats are great for focus and concentration (and many other things).

Same here. My Sennheiser headphones block out quite a bit of random noise from my environment and they're reasonably comfortable as well (at least once you've gotten used to the vise-like grip of the HD 280 Pro).

For actual music though I typically listen to DOS and Amiga game music.

I play video game music of past games I've played, which I enjoy. Devil May Cry 1, Hitman Contracts and the Tekken series get played a lot.

When I think critical I listen rabindra and nazrul songs, old assamese and bengali songs; also some space relaxation music from youtube. When all thinking is done and I am on implementation, o ya bring the action on table! God of war soundtrack, skullgirl sountrack, prince of persia soundtrack.

This is like asking "does anyone move their legs when walking"...

Dealing with code and computers without music is madness.

Depending on my mood, I either go for a combination of classic rock/metal with some "modern" metal/rock, or some Trance/Techno. But I pretty much always have music when doing anything that doesn't have it's own music.

A bit cliché but I never tire of listening to the game tracks (and alike) collection here.

The Crusader Kings 2 soundtrack mainly.

Whenever I manage to resolve an issue that I've been banging my head against for a while I usually listen to September from Earth Wind & Fire to celebrate!!

Two Steps From Hell, Lindsey Stirling, YoYo Ma, Enya, random electronic stuff. If I'm not programming I'll sometimes listen to 90's music or classics like Skynyrd because I can i won't mind the lyrics then.

I'm kind of an oddball by the looks of it.. but I will listen to shuffle on Pandora. I have like 15 different stations. Its mostly Country, Pop, and Rap, and even some Styx, Queen, and Journey. :)

Just discovered today that I am no snob of music, because I will listen to practically anything!
