Anyone else having issues with Unity 5.2.1 importing project?

    I have been working on a project using Unity 5.1.3 and 5.2.0 on my main Mac, however after recently installing 5.2.1 on my ageing Macbook Pro, some of the models imported are being corrupted.

    • Some planet models have their Mesh Filter completely missing.
    • Some cube models are the wrong size
    The project was moved to via git.

    Has anyone else seen this issue?

    Try deleting your Library and temp folders and doing a full re-import.
    Make a backup before you do this ;)

    This wasn't the issue as the project was cloned from git so there were no Library and Temp folders (they are ignored).

    I later updated my main Mac to Unity 5.2.1 and loaded the updated project in without problem, but something fishy is going on with certain simple models when going from 5.2.0 -> 5.2.1.

    Having fixed the issues (in one case by adding a Sphere mesh back in and resizing bits and bobs) it appears to be stable again.
