Anybody tried BakeTool for Blender Cycles.

    I noticed that there's a new add-on for Blender that purports to make baking easier.

    It is called [BakeTool] and seems reasonably priced.

    Anybody tried this?

    Nope but I'll definitely check it out. Always takes me about 50 tries to figure out how to get my normal maps to bake correctly. :)

    Looks like it could be a good solution if you are looking to bake inside of blender. For normal maps I don't see any mention of options. Can it do object space normal maps? Can it output normal maps with a compatible tangent basis with Unity?

    And will it produce better results than XNormal?

    Almost a year later...wondering if there's been anyone using this Blender addon before porting to Unity?
