I looked in the asset store but seems all are out dated, so do you know any good top down camera scripts?

As in simply moving the camera around like an RTS? That's pretty trivial to write yourself. There are also a few in the scripting section.

    Start with Input.GetKey and Transform.Translate.

When I was a total noob, I thought like you did... didn't want to code, just wanted to make my game!

What I found was, however, that knowing code is going to make it possible for you to make your game how you want, even if you use code made by others.

What you specifically want here, the camera, can easily be done as mentioned. Instead of just finding the code and pasting it in... - learn from the experience; Go to the unity3d.com/learn site and look at some of the game tutorials.

For example, this tutorial (http://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/projects/space-shooter-tutorial) will teach you exactly what you want. It's going to teach you how to make the game start to finish, and it's the genre you want. Handy!

Follow along, put the code in for yourself. You'll not only have your camera code, you'll know why it works too. You've leveled up!

    Good luck!
