Any object with animator crashes WebPlayer

    If there is any object with animator in my scene while I am building the game to web player, it does not launch at all.

    If I am instantiating any object with animator the game crashes too.

    It all works fine in the editor. Windows build works normally.
    Tried it (playing the web build) on other computers, the results are the same.

    Unity 5.1.1p1
    Windows 8.1

    Edit: Instalation of 5.1.1p2 did not help

    However the build works correctly when done on my mac.

    I also have diffrent problem now with building to WebPlayer on Windows. I don't see my Canvas. All works fine on mac.

    If the problems persist when building from a full release please file a bug report.

    The plugin version != runtime version.
    The plugin does not do much apart from loading the runtime. It gets that runtime from our servers. That runtime is only updated for the full releases.
    So when you try to start a game built with 5.1.1p2 the plugin will try to check for the runtime for that version on our servers but fail to find one that matches and thus fail to start your content.

    But it does start, but crashes later on (when gameobject with playing animation is in the scene) and my canvas is invisible.

    Well, does it crash when made with a full release?

    It seems, it is all fine on full release.

    Still I am curious about what you said before. When I build to webplayer on patch version, does it fallback to full release player, and that causes errors?

    Yes, it falls back to the runtime of the last full release.
