    Hi all,

I've been playing around with reading the data in a Unity animation (.anim) file, with the vague thought that I might want to make a tool to do simple edits like tweaking events and curves, which currently can only be done by re-importing the animation from another source. Tweaking the actual animation curves might be conceivable too, for example to make sure a loop meshes perfectly, or do a bit of clean-up on raw mocap data. Taking it further, once we've gone that far, it would be conceivable to create entirely new animations, at least for humanoids.

But we've just started a new project that, as it turns out, doesn't have any humanoid characters in it at all (just a bunch of colorful hexagons). So I won't be needing this tool much in the near future, and I'm trying to decide how much effort to put into it.

Would this be something that's of interest to anyone?

    Thanks,
    - Joe
