Any ideas why my NavMesh agent is taking this path?

    I'm just setting the nav agent destination to a cover spot below.

    I've tried adjusting all of the agent values like angular speed and stuff. But everything results in different variations of the same issue. I'm using root motion for the animations.

    I was hoping someone could help me figure out why this is happening! Thanks.
