Would it be less than UE4 which has a gigantic requirement?

There's no reason to think they'd be much different (or any different) from the Unity 4 requirements.

    OOw I see hmmmmm

Because some folks on this forum seem to suggest it will be a gigantic requirement like UE4 because Unity 5 would be a next gen engine.

Unity 5 has similar requirements to Unity 4. So it will run well on even low-end PC's.

With regard to comparison against Unreal Engine 4, yes Unity 5 runs just as efficient on your PC/Mac like Unity 4 does, so has nowhere near the requirements Unreal 4 has.

Will Unity 5 have eye candy like UE4?

    also

Do you know anything about UE4's Blueprint thingy? I heard its basically doing programming without any knowledge of programming. This will be bad for me because my professor wants me to showcase my ability to understand and put into practice what I will be learning with Object Oriented Programming. C/C++ etc and the principles of programming in Computer Science and Calculus etc

If this blueprint thingy really is building games without needing to program then this is very bad for me but good for anyone who just want to make a game. However when I watch youtube videos of it, it looks like a real programming language just a little visual to make it easier but still seems like core programming to me meaning knowing variables and everything

sorry but I am noob at this

You can program in C++ in UE4.

hmm interesting I think I was mistaken earlier on because I checked this blueprint thing on youtube and it features everything you need to know in a programming language it has variables and arrays and while loop etc

Not sure why people say this has nothing to do with programming and is designed for people who has no knowledge of programming. From the looks of it this looks just like Object Oriented Programming but like an addition of a visual representation like how database relationships are added in a way? kinda?

Unity 5 will use Geomeric's Enlighten and physically based rendering. Which is a huge upgrade from how it currently looks. Google Enlighten and PBR and see.

That sounds good. But I take it, will be limited to pro version just as the current free version lacks all the nice eye candy found in pro version right? I feel bad for picking UE4 but after weighing my options and trying out UE4 the cost and ease of use and what I am able to get out of it in return for that one time fee of $20 it was like a dream come true.

The new 64 bit editor runs much smoother than the current editor on the same pc. I've been checking out the beta and it's solid, I upgraded a project and all my plugins work fine. Only errors are from the change to the api where you have to type out GetComponent<Renderer>() rather than gameObject.renderer. But they included a tool that converts them all for you.

Also something they finally added that should have been added back in unity 2x cycle is PER SCENE ambient light/fog instead of per project!

No idea. They may restrict lighting to realtime only and not let you choose Static and Realtime GI.
There are several options, but who knows what will be disabled.

Hmm? That's been part of the Scene Render Settings for as long as I can remember...

They haven't decided yet. I think it's unlikely that they'll decide to limit it all to Pro.
