I just started unity, but have a lot of previous coding experience. I would like to learn how to make physics based 2d games. I would really like to be able to make a rag doll stick fight game. Are there any good tutorials, courses, resources or books on physics based 2d games?

just start coding and start making the game. When you find a specific part you cant figure out, you can research that specific thing or ask here on the forums how to fix it. There is no book that you can read and now you know how to make a game.

There are plenty of ragdoll videos out there. Books are fine but with specific info you are looking for, videos are the way to go.

This is just one of the many videos, it was just the first one to pop up.
