Any blender tutorials for beginners?

Hey all,
Are there any good blender tutorials for beginners that aim towards game development and teach how to create props and characters and stufff like that? I have the basic knowledge about blender and i am wishing to learn more.
P.S.: I am totally new to unity and have no scripting knowledge.

Well a quick search on Google or Youtube will find lots of tuts My favourites are:

1. cgcookie.com - especially Jonathan Williamson and David Ward. (David Ward also has tuts on YouTube)

2.On YouTube search for ianscott888 and cgboorman

That should give you a start.

Best one for beginning is David Ward's JB3 tutorials on YouTube in my opinion. Depends out which style suits you really, Jonathan Williamson's also good but his style of modeling the head did not work for me, but does for plenty of others.

They both speak in clear, friendly voices.

 

I actually want tutorials that teach how to make props for games. e.g barrels, chests, trees, etc.

 

Then try the ianscott88 link I gave you above.

http://www.cgsociety.org/index.php/CGSFeatures/CGSFeatureSpecial/the_top_ten_tips_of_texturing (altough not blender turorial) texturing is a huge part of creating models for games and this surely will come in handy when creating your own
