    Hi!

I am looking for a project in the asset store to make a space sim like x-wing, tie fighter. No newtonian movement and pretty simple requirements, just a 3d space arcade inside a cokpit.

I have seen a game called phoenix final and its awesome, but its in 3d view, but I don't know if the author is willing to share this (no response yet).http://www.nether.org.uk/bad_mac_code.html#phoenix_final

In the asset store, I have found this: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/2081, but I don't know if this asset will be ok for my needs.

    Any advice please?

    thanks in advance

That one looks great. Good recommendation. I'd go with that for game mechanics.

    FYI:
Graphics on SPACE for Unity are still the best I've seen but lacks the game mechanics you are probably looking for. Wouldn't recommend it for the controller but definitely could be helpful for building scenes. You'll want to have a plan for how your players interact with planets. With this kit, you may want to have a cut scene for landing on one.

SkyFighter 2 Space Start Kit is an old kit and abandoned. Looks like what you are trying to build but out of the box it will need a lot of work.

Oops, didn't notice the links were to the same thing. Space Game Starter Kit has decent mechanics (scripts). You can use them together with SPACE for Unity's graphics to get a good head start on making your game.
