Read online PDF help. You can find it under Antares->Help menu.
This doc cantain a full road-creation description.
In two words, after creating Curve for road, you must select Antares->Curve->Create Curved Road and use the few settings from curved road component, which will be added to your curve object.

To start with you have a hotmail account. Second, this query belongs in Collaboration. Thirdly, I do not know how Neodrop feels but I look at your offer to work for free as a joke or uninformed (possibly insulting..YMMV). Just look at the amazing work this fellow produces. He is worth 100 bucks an hour to a game studio. Where is your work to show? Everybody and their brother has an idea for the greatest game/movie/music album ever that will make a zillion bucks. The only ones getting anywhere are those with the tools (organic brains, logical intelligence, computer hardware, appropriate software and business smarts..and DRIVE!) and a portfolio or plan in detail.

Keep plugging away though..and get your framework for your game in order so folks will take you seriously.

My mind is open for any offers and good ideas, but yep - my time is very limited.
Somebody know, where can I be cloned two-three times? ;)

    Hello,

I have started to use the "Bezier Curves" functionality (Antares Addon) in one of my project and it is great, but before continuing with the development I wish you to clarify some points about licensing. You said in your first post that the Antares Addon is open source and free (is it free for commercial projects too?) but you don't specify which open source license are you using for it. There are some open source licenses (such as GPL) that wouldn't be suitable for my project, but I could use other less restrictive (from the developer point of view) open source licenses such as MIT license.

For that reason, I ask you to clarify which open source license are you using for Antares Addon Antares Browser or if you are going to use your own open source license, at least write their terms somewhere so we can see if we can use that great addons in our projects or not.

Yes. I will put the license file in next release. Please, if you wish a quick answer - let me here some license variants, I have a less time to find it myself.
I thing, MIT is OK. AntaresProject is a free project, I have no underwater stones in my mind.

I've search in the Wikipedia for some of the most used open-sources licenses:

    BSD similar licenses:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BSD_license
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIT_License

    GPL similar licenses:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPL_License
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGPL
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AGPL

    Others:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apache_license
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zlib/libpng_license

I understand that you only want to make a great product that everybody can use for free (and you are doing a very good job so far), but some of us can't use your product until you have a clearly defined license. We can be using other products in our projects and we must be sure we can use both products together without licensing incompatibilities.

I know that you don't have underwater stones in mind, but using a library without a clearly defined license can become a real licensing minefield. If you want my opinion, a MIT license would be a good option because developers would be able to use your addons safely and it doesn't impose any limitation.

I understand and completely agree. This is, undoubtedly, omission from my side. I'll fix it asap. Thank you for your help and advise with licenses.

WOW, I just found this awesome suite of scripts. Simply awesome work!!!!! Cant thank you enough for sharing your tools with the world. IMO this is one of those unity staples(iTween, SpriteManger2, EZGui, etc).

I'll be following this thread closely. :)

I didn't know that license, but it is now my new favorite license :D

How does it work? Are the control points more or less separated depending on the animation curve?

You can move it like transforms by dragging blue points in Scene View, or you can edit it right in AnimationCurve editor window. (one AnimationCurve for each axis)

I see... I'll probably continue using the "classic method" (moving blue points in scene view or changing its position manually in the inspector) but I can see situations where the "new method" fits better.

I have tried to build my current PC project for the iOS platform and it has given me the following error message:

    Code (csharp):
    1. Assets/Antares/Scripts/System/TerrainSetNeighbors.js(3,12): BCE0018: The name 'Terrain' does not denote a valid type ('not found').
I though that script was only used in the editor not in runtime, so don't know why I receive that error message. Do you know how can I get my game compiled for the iOS platform?

I'm only using the "curve functionality" from Antares Project, so... can I remove that script from the project safely or it is used internally for that functionality?

I just wanted to test the game in my iPad... ;)

Yes. Just delete from Antares/System this script :
    TerrainSetNeighbors.js

After deleting that script, I received some more error messages and I had to delete TakeYourHandOFF.js and TakeOffYourHandEditor.js, but it seems to work now. However, I think you should try to make the library a little more iOS-Android friendly... I know that Terrains are not available for iOS-Android, but it may be possible to use "Platform Dependent Compilation" for, at least, avoiding that kind of compilation errors.

If that doesn't work, at least you should try to write about these special cases in the documentation, so people know what scripts should be deleted ;)

Unfortunately, my Mac is died and I can't test it myself. But, how you see - there is no troubles to remove 3 scripts for iOS compilation.

I will add it in the doc's, when I will find time to do it.

    Sorry for your Mac.
At the end the solution has been very simple, but I wanted to ask before doing anything because when you are working with code developed by another person, you can't be sure if you can safely remove one script without examining all the code, so I though it would be faster to ask.

I know that it is easy to say this now, but I was thinking about donating some money if I make money with my current project. You may consider using a Dual Licensing scheme where you offer a free GPL license (that only can be used in open source projects with a GPL license) and a paid license for commercial use (you could use the MIT license, that doesn't require the user to release the source code, or you could create your own commercial license). This way, people who is working in open source projects could continue using Antares Project for free but people who don't want to release the source code of their project would have to pay in order to use Antares Project legally.

Antares Project is great and you deserve some money for your hard work. I would understand if you decided to drop completely the open source license, but I think you should leave at least a free open source license.

Thank you. I do not plan to change a projet open source state. I mean, unfortunately, the time is money, which I haven't ;)

That is the reason why I suggested the dual licensing scheme ;)

I know that time is money and time is the scarcest resource... I am only using the "curve functionality" but I have found your project really useful, so I don't understand why do you have so many downloads and no donations :(

    Well, I keep my work.

New for next release (1.5.6) : Mesh to SkinnedMesh Combaining
This is the script to combine any meshes with SkinnedMesh object. This script can be very convenient for Character customization for example. Or for the arrows in the breast.
