Not sure even how to ask this question being in the newbie state of Unity development that I am in at current but... I'd like to render ANSI text into a unity text mesh pro object. I've done some work creating TMP font assets for the CP427 character sets but that doesn't help with ^] stuff.

Can anyone point me in a direction? I've entertained ANSI2PNG converts but I'd rather have a method for dropping stuff directly into a text object and have it render properly...

It's more of a question than an issue really. Is it possible to render ANSI text with escape code sequences to a Text Mesh Pro object?

Help me understand the use case?

ANSI is simply a different form of encoding where in the end the same glyph is accessed and rendered. Why do you want to use ANSI instead of the other formats?

In TextMesh Pro you can access any glyph via strings or typing them into the Text Input Box. To access UTF16, just like in a string you can type \uF0F0 where the two hex pair represent the unicode for the glyph and for UTF32 \UFF00FF00 where the 4 hex pairs correspond to the unicode for the glyph.
