So I'm making a third-person action game and I have my animation system set up so that while moving, the attack animations only play from the torso up, allowing movement and attacking simultaneously. The problem is that even though the torso is overridden, it's still offset by its parent, the pelvis bone. So when I sidestep, the animation gets messed up and the character no longer punches forward:

Is there a way to force the torso bone to rotate exactly as it does in the base punch animation, instead of rotating relative to the pelvis?

    Thanks.
