Bug Animator state inspector goes blank after you make any transition to other state

    here is a video of the issue.
    I made a new project, with empty animations for demo purposes, but the problem is the same no matter what animations are used, this makes working on animators impossible and I am 100% sure the issue is with the editor.
    Tried pc and android platforms, problem is the same.

    Did you address the yellow warning? Pretty sure full use of the Animator window requires selecting the actual object.

    only fix was rollback to unity 2020.3.30f1 anything after that animators don't work

    I’ve seen another thread about this recently, pretty sure it’s a bug.

    Features that are not actively worked on do suffer from rot, even on LTS, when adjacent features get minor changes, but no one actively maintains the animation toolset.

    I can confirm this issue. Quite annoying, but good to know it can be solved by a downgrade.

    I encountered this bug as well in 2020.3.31f1. Thank you for the workaround. I hope it gets fixed soon in LTS.

    Same for me - had to downgrade to 2020.3.30f1 to get any work done.

    Deym~ I'm getting this bug too- I'm using 2020.3.31f1. I tested it by adding 2 empty blend trees and made transitions. Apparently, the origin of the transition gets blank in inspector. I wonder if it's fixed in .32f1...

    Edit: Just saw @End-Dmd 's comment and tested it in 2020.3.32f1... I guess I'll have to downgrade as well. It works in 2020.3.29f1.

    Yea, same thing happens to me. Using 2020.3.32f1.

    Has anyone figured any workarounds besides downgrading?

    Same issue, I cant believe its a problem on LTS.

    @DerWiNG You've probably solved that already, but just in case anyone else asks the same: Just install the target version from Unity Hub, then under Projects, choose an Editor Version for the project you need to open it with.

    Tested it on 2020.3.33f1 just now, it's fixed again.

    2020.3.32f1: Same issue here. After placing transition the Inspector for the state goes blank.

    Just updated my project to 2020.3.33f1. This is now fixed!

    I'm on 2020.3.33f1 the bug is still there.
