Animations exhibit smearing/tearing upon loading a new scene

    Hi everybody,

    I'm having some issues with animations in different unity scenes. I have an animated anatomical arm model that depicts different motions. The animations work fine if they are in the root scene of the project (i.e. that with build index zero). However, when I load a new scene with LoadSceneAsync, the same animations in the new scene exhibit pixel "smearing/tearing" upon playing. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this? Both the model and the animations were imported from AutoDesk Maya as FBX files, and the animations are baked. I use a simple animation controller to control the animations.

    Does anyone know of a possible solution? I know a lot of people report weird scene issues when loading new scenes.

    It's really hard to tell what the issue might be without seeing the effect you're describing. Can you attach a short video or a screenshot to visualise the problem? That might help with getting answers to help with your problem.
