Animation wildly shifts object positioning for no apparent reason

    Hello,

    After importing my animations to Unity from Blender within an FBX asset, I tested them in my game, only to find that my object's position changes greatly when the animation starts.

    Position before animation (desired):

    Position after animation:


    In Blender, everything is centered at (0,0), and the animations do not move the character at all (it's an idle animation). Also, when importing the FBX, the model's origin is not the same as it is in Blender.

    I've tried messing around with import settings and root motion settings in many ways, but nothing has helped. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
