animation problem

    Default clip could not be found in attached animations list.....this means what?.....Where are these lists located

    Please be more specific - where are you getting this error/notice?
    If in the console - is it referencing a line in a script?

    It is in the console, clicking on it highlights the cartoon soldier I have for a player

    3D or 2D?
    Is this a character you did not set up yourself?
    Does the character have an animator or animation component?
    Legacy animation setup?

    These are specifics that would assist with providing help. Any other 'specifics' you can provide would be great.

    its 3D.....no animator component...its a char from the asset store
