animation petting an animal

    thanks, but i looking a humanoid animation for petting a dog or cat.

    there is one, a big animal in mixamo

    This animation type is fairly rare, I'd consider rotoscoping it in this scenario. Or modeling/animating it traditionally.

    Optionally, I would try to combine with multiple animations, to get desired result.

    You can use IK on the hand and target it to the pet's surface and play a petting animation on the pet OR bake the animations for both hands and pet
