Animation not working in unity.

Hello! As the title says I'm currently having trouble importing an animation into unity. I'm trying to import a gate model with a simple animation but unity says that my model "has no animation data". I'm very sorry if this seems dumb. I'm very new to unity. I would greatly appreciate any help!
