Animation layers not working :(

Sadly, I think I posted something similar, but for sure I know my animation layers is not working....

I got 4 layers, which is 4 body parts with Sprite sheets that need to be sync together:

Body
Hair
Shirt
Pants

each is a layer, and the body should be the base... however when I try and checkbox the Sync, for Hair, Shirt and Pants, and also sync it to body... however only the body ever Appears... not the other layers.. if I move the body down, then the hair will of course appear since its the top..

I check the animations of each, and all work fine... i checked each of the animator, and they do all have the same Idle and walk motion including the same parameter (idle, and walk parameter as bool)... so not sure what else I am missing, I want to see the body, hair, shirt and pants together, sync and able to see all... not just one... I looked at a couple of youtube examples... and tried to copy, with no resolve

I also tried each layer Additive..... still nothing

I thought I explained it right? still trying and still nothing... am I not getting the purpose of Animator Layers? thought you can use it for 2d body parts, which in my case, Instead of body parts, 1 is body, 2 is hair, 3 pants, 4 shirt... and I want them to all sync with the Body... so if body walks... the other 2-4 will walk or show movement of walking... as they are the same in terms of the animation... tried Additive for all except the Body, and made body override.. but nothing works...

 

sure, I uploaded a video of me trying to get Animation Layers working, the Base, I want to be the Body, then the other layers ,Additive, I want the hair, shirt and pants... however it never works hopefully the video explains my problem better.
