Hola, so I am working on a little project and I have run across a problem. It's a traditional work flow of one layer in the animator is set for full body motions, while an upper body layer is set for upper body movements. The problem is that the upper body layer causes the character to float. Now it's not just a simple height change, but it causes the animation to play in a way that causes only the legs to move up and down, leaving the root of the character completely immobile. Any solutions? And no, I am not using root motion for this. Attached below are the before and after images.
