animation in fps

    Hi guys! I have a little question in a fps game.
    I use blender to create models and animation and I built a model for character. But, I have to use this model to animate all weapon or I have to use one copy of the arms(or one copy of the model) for each weapon?
    which strategy is better?

    (sorry for the grammar. I don't speak english very well)
