Animation deforms mesh only in cloud build when animation is a child of any gameobject or prefab.

    Hello!

We have encountered an issue that only pops up when we cloud build our project regarding 3D objects and their animations deforming the mesh. When built off a machine, everything works perfectly fine and there is no skewing of the mesh when animations play. From cloud build however, we end up getting a deformed mesh at times for animated 3D objects that are a child of any other gameObject either in a prefab or not in a prefab. I confirmed by dragging the object mesh straight in and having the same mesh under another gameObject in scene as a prefab and not as a prefab. Again, the editor works as expected and a build done from any of our multiple machines works as expected, it is only the cloud build that yields this result.

Any ideas what may be causing this? I have attached a picture that shows the difference in what we see from a cloud build compared to in the editor/from a standard build from any of our machines (don't mind the outline material, it changed slightly from the last cloud build).

    Thanks!

Does this happen across all platforms or only on a specific one? Did you ensure all preprocessor defines are defined properly?

Yes all preprocessor defines are set up as they should be and it is occurring across all platforms.

Are you checking in the raw models or do you use FBX files?
Would it be possible for you to provide us a reproducible? Please open a support ticket if this would be an option for you!

Hello again! We are using FBX files. I took the model out into a new project and set it up under gameobjects etc and ran the test again and got the same results. I have set up a support ticket (#15765). It is linked to the cloud build, so I assume you would be able to access the example project there. Let me know if you need anything else!
