Animation breaks when disabled halfway through

    I really don't know if I am missing something but I have spent a few hours with no progress.

    My problem is that when I activate my weapon switch function when the current weapon is partway through an animation (ie: running) the transform of the object breaks depending on where the last animation was at when switched the next time I enable the object. I have tried manually resetting the transform back to the original starting position but it seems like the changed position overrides anything else. No idea how to fix this one. It seems to only happen on the animations where children are changing position as well as the parent object.
