Animating cargo load into a container

Hi folks, I'm looking for a way to animate the action of loading cargo in a container or a truck or something that can carry the thing. So, I don't know if Unity can handle a counter that you can use to show or hide lumber in a container. Any guidance will be highly appreciated!
