    Hi guys,

I am attempting to have a closed fist for when a model is holding a weapon, but still have an open hand when not holding the weapon. Instead of having lots of different animations I assumed you could have animation layers and just export a single framed blender animation of the hand closed into unity.

I have attempted to export to FBX with a single frame animation, but unity does not seem to see this animation. All my other animations work correctly. I have also attempted to duplicate the first frame to see if that makes a difference.

Is there something I am missing on Unity/Blender/Exporting, or is there an easier way of doing this?

For anyone reading this in the future:

My problem was the project explorer was not adding the animation to the list. I had to go to the model in the project explorer, go to the animation tab and press the '+' to manually add the single frame animation.
