animated fps weapons

    ill make a video of all the animations
    also bubigame reported the shader forge shaders included dont work in unity5.3, anyone else got this issue?
    they are made for forward rendering, maybe thats the issue

    I think precompiled shaders are no longer supported. Maybe thats the issue?

    ah i see, ill have a look at it, and post the shaders here as a download when i fix it

    I use Unity5.1 , some shader are pink(rock), I replace it by standard shader.
    I can see the 3rd person mesh in front of the 1st person arm and weapon.

    its on hold for now but i allready made this thread = link
    the thing is i needed a break from creating guns, im currently working on something different but when its done ill continue on the ww2 pack

    The WW2 weapons are going to be a separate package, not being part of FPS Weapons?

    im waiting to update the package until unity has a more stable version out, im having a lot of bugs with latest version

    Hi,

    I made a simple demo for Android with your Asset, the apk is available on my server : http://zugsoft.com/games/virusinfection3/vi3-alpha.apk
    I will use your Asset in my next games VirusInfection3 and AlienAttack2.

    I still use Unity 5.1, because I prefer this version for the moment, can you say me how can I solve the problem with the 3rd person view animation ?

    i dont have a android device so i cant test it :(
    do u mean the body is visible problem? its a shader wich was made with shader forge. so if u have shader forge just recompile it for unity5.1. if u dont ill see if i can recompile it for unity5.1 for u.

    I made a small movie


    I have no problem with the Shader I use Mobile shader, I have just a problem with animation and weapon, I will solve this.

    I prefer this Asset than UFPS and RFPS :D

    You can update your package with your new weapon :D
    And I will be happy to see 1 or 2 new scifi weapon

    I know this isn't a complete template but it would be nice to see there be an option to switch between 1st and 3rd to show off the weapons in both views but nonetheless one of if not the best gun pack on the asset store.

    oh really? then im going to update it sooner(march is to long away ;)), im working on the ww2 pack and ive made some improvements to the fps scripts wich ill also use in the update for "fps weapons".the update will be ready early februari.
    yes that would be nice, but i would have serious problems with IK aiming to make it look good. im not planning on adding a 3rd person character controller.

    Sorry if I missed this, what character controller are you using? I'm thinking this would work great with UFPS and Third Person Controller, but not sure. Have you tested on any other asset controllers? I know that's not your responsibility, but just curious.

    This pack looks amazing. I also like the looks of the other weapon packs you have.

    im just using a simple self made controller (charactercontroller)
    i have not tested the package with other packs, so i dont know how well it will work with the mentioned assets.
    some buyers are using it with RFPS without major issues. so i guess UFPS should work to.

    yah maybe, but it wont be in next update
    ive put my "tripod" model in the demoscene(just for fun and to add some life), looks really cool in my opinion

    finished the 3 new weapons

    im also thinking of deleting the previous level i made(well not deleting but not including it in the new update), the project is getting too big, and in the end its the weapons in the pack that are the most important. let me know how u think about that.

    the package will be submitted for review when i have a website done, so i cant really say when.

    Please leave it. Its good for example. If people dont want it they can just un check it on import.

    I would say cut it to be basic blocks only. I got it for the Weapons and Animations, nothing else. At some point, when I get around to it, I plan to see if I can make a prefab out of it for UFPS.

    i was thinking of making just a small terrain with rocks and the basic stuff like a ladder a door and a crate.
    and then submit the first demolevel as a free download.

    It would be nice if your Character model had 3 materials - Head, Body, Arms.

    can u explain a bit. do u want the materials to be assigned to different polygroups or u want the mesh to be split(and then also retextured)?

    I can do it myself, but it would be nice if the trooper mesh had materials assigned to the different polygroups. So 1 mesh, 3 materials. The 3 materials would use the same texture (same texture you have now).

    Basically Like this. One Mesh, 3 materials. You probably want two versions. The Current version, plus this extra version. Just a suggestion like I said. In T-Pose form too, that way it's easier to set up a ragdoll.

    The problem with 3 materials => 3 drawcalls.

    I added 30 differents Zombies, I really like your Asset :D

    Yep, and that's why I said as an additional MeshFile so that those who don't want it, won't use it. Regardless, I'm fine whether it's added or not :)

    how do u do that distruction ? is it a plugin or prefractured objects?

    ill post a video of the update soon,
    whats changed:
    -3 new weapons!
    -improved animations of all weapons + added a "hide" animation for all of them.
    -improved scripts and fixed some small bugs.(weapon sway is now procedural and not anymore animation based)
    -new character texture and matching arms texture

    sadly that is not so easy to do, and i wont plan on adding that
